Hello out there!!! It is a Saturday night and guess what I'm doing?? Writing to You...Duh!! Aside from that I'm fighting the sleep HARDCORE. My weekend so far is so full of activity and lack of sleep that I am Currently foregoing a concert for one my favorite singers. Chantae Cann. Le sigh. It was a free cover tonight too! But alas, I didn't want to get gas, drive, pick up my girl, find parking, stand up for hours..*pushes brakes* Listen. I sang with my choir at one church, drove to another church to eat lunch, went to a hospital to do outreach, went to another church to sing...SIGH! There was a LOT of standing and walking involved. And guess what? I didn't have a change of shoes. I had on my most uncomfortable shoes on... for the longest I've had them on IN LIFE. My face by the end of the day ----> (-____-) Not very friendly.
But have no fear....
I will leave you with a vid of two of my favorite artists! :) The Funcpunks and Chantae Cann...Together!! Sadly, neither of them have actual cd's out. Chantae does have an EP though. -The Light- Check it out! Her voice is amazingly calming and just *Ahhhh*. Seeing her live is WAY better though. I guess I could add some vids of stuff I've taped live also.

The World Natural Hair show was GREATNESS!!! Me and Neelah (my roll-dog for the day) drove the distance to the venue, parked without much trouble, stood in line for a pretty short time, walked in and were instantly overwhelmed!! There were So many Booths, products, negros forcing flyers on you, youtube and blog celebrities....SMH. You really should check it out for yourself next year! Whether you're natural, thinking about transitioning, or relaxed and curious you Should! Its a very humbling and eye-opening experience!! I tried to get my mom to come with me (multiple times) but she flat out refused. lol. The natural hair 'movement' is just silly to her. [Even though I've been helping her transition for a year!!] Gotta love that lady anyway. :)
The highlight would be meeting Black Onyx. She is SO SWEET guys! Very knowledgeable about her products and very concerned about Not supporting PJism, but leading customers towards what their hair Needs based on their stated concerns. She took the time to talk to everyone that came to her Very organized booth complete with her full line of hair care products, jewelry, cutely packaged samples...the works! She had a team with matching company shirts and the girls had the CUTEST hair bows!!! I Will be buying one. OMG. I took a pic. :) I'm going to make a vid about the FEW things I got at show also. So stay tuned!

Holas folks!!! Quick update: Life has been grand and extremely meager at the same time. I've been on a mental vacay for a bit. And I Still don't feel bad. :) I did go to work for a little bit last week to get the transition rolling and such. And there's Another test I need to take that's hospital administrated. Excellent. Send up a prayer for me folkies!!! I'm taking it this week!!
I woke up this Sunday morning and decided that I've taken a long enough break from the blogging. To be completely honest, at first I just didn't feel like it. THEN Life started to kick my butt and I was really avoiding it. Sigh.
